"In Sterrett's series of drawings, "Flying Home," she conveys airborne views using the softness of her palette to suggest distance. The work so successfully reproduces the feeling and look of being airborne that you find yourself guessing at the forms "below" just as you would while flying. Sabyna Sterrett's best work is her most abstract."
